Dear irishtune.info news subscribers,

Here's your very occasional news update on the current status of
irishtune.info (Irish Traditional Music Tune Index).

The last time I wrote you was March 25 of this year, when I sent out the
first-ever report of new CDs added to the index since the whole site was
launched in November 2002. At that time I also promised that my next step
was to tackle a pile of CDs which I had picked up during my month in Sliabh
Luachra in July 2002. My first priority was the recordings and books of
music from counties Cork and Kerry.

Well ... now, a year and a half after returning from Sliabh Luachra, I've
finally finished that little project. Here are the new items whose musical
contents I have identified and linked up with the rest of the
irishtune.info data:

New Recordings (oldest to newest):
http://www.irishtune.info/album/MotS+2/ (Monks of the Screw)
http://www.irishtune.info/album/DH+1/ (Dan Herlihy and Friends)
http://www.irishtune.info/album/MISD+6/ (Donncha Lynch Trio)
http://www.irishtune.info/album/MISD+7/ (Donncha Lynch Trio)
http://www.irishtune.info/album/ESL+1/ ("An Evening in Sliabh Luachra")
http://www.irishtune.info/album/INS/ (Hamilton/Creagh/Ó Drisceoil)
http://www.irishtune.info/album/DH+3/ (Dan Herlihy and John Drew)
http://www.irishtune.info/album/MotS+3/ (Monks of the Screw Trio)
http://www.irishtune.info/album/Sld+1/ (Slide)
http://www.irishtune.info/album/DLB/ (Donncha Lynch Band)
http://www.irishtune.info/album/LAC/ (Tom and Kerry Barrett)
http://www.irishtune.info/album/BBg+2/ (Brendan Begley)

New tune books:
(book details are here: http://www.irishtune.info/books.htm )
JOL (Johnny O'Leary of Sliabh Luachra)
Cuz (The Road to Glountane)
IBPS (Ireland's Best Polkas and Slides)

Note that the above list is not a complete list of all Cork/Kerry material
in irishtune.info - this is, again, just the new material since March 2003.

Now ... on to the rest of the pile of CDs I've come by since July 2002.
I'll start with the most historic material first, and let you know when I
get another significant batch of work done. Thanks for your interest and
support,
